Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior transmission design engineer to design 69kV–500kV lines and lead a design team. You will prepare scopes, perform calculations, and review drawings to ensure compliance with NESC, IEC, and client specs.

The role supports a hybrid work model, relocation opportunities, and requires ABET‑accredited BS in engineering with 10+ years of transmission design experience and PLS-CADD proficiency.

Competenze

• BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
• 10+ years of transmission design experience.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD software.
• Experience developing scopes, conceptual designs, and calculations.
• Experience with 69kV–500kV transmission lines.
• Knowledge of standards: NESC, IEC, ASCE, ACI, IEEE, ANSI.
• Experience reviewing design drawings.

Mansioni

• Design transmission lines in the 69kV to 765kV range.
• Mentor and train design team members.
• Coordinate design activities to ensure compliance with specs, codes and client requirements.
• Prepare reports and studies presenting technical information.
• Perform independent reviews of work including calculations and models in PLS-CADD.
