Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking Senior Transmission Line Engineers to lead high-voltage line design from 69 kV to 765 kV. Hybrid work arrangement after 90 days, with offices in Spring, TX; Dallas, TX; Ft Worth, TX; Kennewick, WA; or remote options depending on location.

You will design lines, optimize routes, and collaborate with clients and vendors using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and other tools. Lead teams, support construction, and ensure project success from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• EIT Certification preferred.
• Typically requires 6 years' experience specifically with transmission line design.
• Solid knowledge of PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, MFAD, L-Pile or similar.
• Familiarity with NESC, IEEE, ASCE 7 and AISC.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Design transmission lines from 69 kV to 765 kV using PLS-CADD and related tools.
• Collaborate with clients and vendors to select materials, routes, and solutions.
• Lead small design teams to prepare scoping documents and design criteria.
• Provide engineering support during construction and attend meetings and site visits as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
