Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking Senior Transmission Line Engineers to lead high‑voltage line projects (69 kV–765 kV) in a hybrid office/remote setup after 90 days. Positions available in Spring, TX, Dallas, TX, Ft Worth, TX, Kennewick, WA, with remote options depending on location.

You will guide design using PLS-CADD, coordinate teams, and support construction to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications include a Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering degree, 6 years of line design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• EIT Certification preferred.
• Typically requires 6 years’ experience specifically with transmission line design.
• Solid knowledge of PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and MFAD, L-Pile or similar.
• Familiarity with design techniques, plan and profile drawings, and material coordination.
• Solid knowledge of NESC, IEEE, ASCE 7 and AISC.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Transmission Line Design: Design transmission lines from 69 kV to 765 kV. Utilize PLS-CADD to develop, review and check transmission line models, conductor sags, plan, and profile drawings, and verify right of way requirements
• Collaboration & Strategy: Strategize and meet with peers and clients to determine specific project needs and requirements such as conductor selection, pole utilization, and route optimization. Work with vendors to identify potential materials, equipment, and new design solutions to solve dynamic client requirements
• Team Coordination & Project Deliverables: Coordinate small design teams as needed to prepare scoping documents, design criteria, and project deliverables
• Client Support & Construction Assistance: Provide clients with engineering assistance during construction, and be available to attend construction meetings, coordination efforts, and community outreach as needed
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as required
