Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Typically requires 6 years of experience with transmission line design.
• Familiar with NESC, IEEE, ASCE 7 and AISC.

Responsibilities

• Design transmission lines from 69 kV to 765 kV using PLS-CADD to develop models, sag checks, and drawings.
• Collaborate with clients and vendors to determine project needs (conductor selection, pole utilization, routing).
• Lead small design teams to prepare scoping documents, design criteria, and deliverables.
• Provide engineering support during construction and attend meetings as needed.
