Job summary

You will manage scope, budget and schedule, drive multi-year plans, and report to senior management while coordinating with external customers and internal partners to ensure timely, within-budget delivery.

The role requires PMP certification or near-term attainment, strong leadership, and expert program governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 7-10 years PM experience, or 9-12 years without degree.
• PMP certification or achieve PMP within two years of job entry.
• Demonstrated proficiency and experience managing large, complex projects using PM techniques.
• Proven leadership ability in a high-performance culture.
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus, communicate effectively, and hold people accountable.
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Directly accountable to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Interface with external customers on transmission/substation projects and negotiate schedules.
• Collaborate with PMs, work management and managers to optimize resources.
• Communicate with project sponsor and stakeholders at executive levels.
• Manage contract resources, requisitions, change orders and payments.
• Lead and coach team members, mentor colleagues.
• Acquire zoning variations and permits for large projects.
• Provide backup role for Manager Project Management.
