HDR is seeking a Transmission EPC Principal to lead pursuit efforts and manage risk for high‑profile projects. The role requires strong engineering leadership across EPC scopes, with coordination among HDR partners, internal teams and customers.

The position emphasizes front‑end engineering, scope and budget development, and collaboration with environmental, real estate, GIS, and land survey teams to ensure successful transitions from pursuit to execution. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the Pursuit Champion / Manager on Transmission EPC projects. Transition duties to Project Manager and execution team.
• Facilitate discussion on technical risk analysis, preliminary routing and design, and bill-of-material takeoff support.
• Lead scope, schedule and budget development for AD projects, coordinating with land survey, geotechnical, distribution, substation, environmental, real estate and GIS teams.
• Estimate technical investments prior to Go/No-Go discussions and share risk with leadership teams.
• Interface with contractors and subconsultants during pursuit and project work to discuss risk and mitigation.
• Contribute to FEED development and template/standard creation across transmission EPC pursuits and projects.
