Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years’ experience as a practicing engineer.
• State registration as a Professional Engineer.
• An expert in engineering theories and principles.
• An expert in researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations, and presenting them.
• Ability to deal with diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership within the utility industry.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and mentors other Engineering professionals.
• Reviews work of subordinate Engineering professionals.
• Provides technical leadership and direction on a corporate or industry level in their field of expertise.
• Guides identification, analysis, and resolution of engineering problems.
• Plans, organizes, estimates, schedules, and monitors work activities.
• Produces thorough technical reports, calculations, and sketches.
• Drives continuous improvement and maintains up-to-date knowledge.
• Maintains accurate records and files.
