Job summary
Michels Power, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager for Transmission & Distribution to lead major utility infrastructure programs valued at $10 million+. You’ll drive pursuit, estimating, negotiations through construction, client management, and closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and financial success.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in transmission, substation, and distribution infra, with strong commercial acumen and team-building abilities in dynamic field environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- 7-10+ years of related experience with large-scale utility projects.
- Experience leading projects valued at $10 million or greater.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale transmission, distribution, and substation projects from pursuit through final completion.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and profitability.
- Directly supervise and mentor Project Managers and staff.
- Review contracts, plans, and bid documents to understand requirements and risks.
- Coordinate estimating, bid submissions, and client communications.
- Ensure compliance with standards, Permitting, and safety policies.
