Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager – Transmission & Distribution to lead major utility infrastructure programs and oversee multiple projects valued at $10 million or more.

You will drive execution from pursuit through closeout with a focus on safety, client satisfaction, and financial performance. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in transmission, substation, and distribution infrastructure, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build and guide high-performing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field; 7–10+ years of utility/power delivery exp.
• Proven success managing large-scale utility transmission, distribution, or substation projects.
• Experience leading projects valued at $10 million or greater.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale transmission, distribution, and substation projects from pursuit to completion.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and profitability.
• Directly supervise and mentor Associate Project Managers and Project Managers.
• Review contracts, plans, specs, and bid documents to understand requirements and risks.
• Coordinate estimating, proposals, RFP responses, and bids.
