Michels Power, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager – Transmission & Distribution to lead major utility infrastructure programs. You will direct pursuits, estimating, contracts, and construction activities for multi-project delivery with safety, quality, and client satisfaction as top priorities.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in transmission, substation, and distribution infrastructure, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to develop teams in dynamic field environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of related experience managing large-scale utility projects.
• Experience with projects valued at $10 million or greater.
• Proficiency with contract administration, estimating, and project controls.
• Willingness to travel and manage on-site, multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale transmission, distribution, and substation projects from pursuit through final completion.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and profitability.
• Directly supervise and mentor associate PMs, PMs, and staff.
• Review contracts, plans, specs, and bid documents for risks and requirements.
• Coordinate estimating, proposals, RFP responses, and bids.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain strong relationships.
