Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Transmission & Distribution to lead large-scale power delivery projects valued at $10 million or more, directing pursuit, estimating, negotiations, construction, client management, and closeout.

You will oversee safety, schedule, budget, quality, and team development, mentoring Associate PMs and PMs, coordinating field operations, and ensuring compliance with utility standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Project Management; 7–10+ years of related experience.
• Experience leading large-scale utility transmission, distribution, or substation projects.
• Willingness to travel and manage multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale transmission, distribution, and substation projects from pursuit through final completion.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and profitability.
• Mentor Associate PMs and Project Managers, and supervise project staff.
• Coordinate estimating, proposals, bids, and contract negotiations.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure proactive communication.
