Job summary

Circle is seeking an experienced transactional attorney to join the Transactions team in the Legal department. The role focuses on Corporate Development and Ventures (M&A, strategic transactions, venture investments) and Financial Partnerships with banks and other financial institutions.

As a senior contributor, you will lead transactions end-to-end, collaborate with Business Development, Product, and other teams, and help design AI-enabled workflows to improve diligence, drafting, and deal

Qualifications

• J.D. or foreign equivalent and active U.S. State Bar membership.
• 7+ years of transactional legal experience.
• Substantial M&A/financial transactions experience.
• Familiarity with AI in legal workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead mergers & acquisitions and other corporate transactions from inception through signing and closing.
• Draft first-turn agreements and manage due diligence and negotiations.
• Coordinate with Business Development, Product, and other teams across matters.
• Develop AI-enabled templates, playbooks, and workflows for the Transactions team.
• Review AI-assisted outputs for accuracy, privilege, and confidentiality.
