Job summary

Circle is seeking an experienced transactional attorney to join the Transactions team within Circle’s Legal department. The role focuses on corporate development, ventures, and financial partnerships, including mergers and acquisitions, venture investments, and agreements with banks and other financial institutions.

As a senior contributor, you will manage transactions from inception through signing and closing, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and shape AI-enabled workflows to increase

Qualifications

• J.D. or foreign equivalent and active membership in good standing of at least one U.S. State Bar.
• 7+ years of transactional legal experience at a leading law firm or in-house.
• Extensive M&A and corporate/financial services transactions experience.
• Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law; coordinate diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; manage multiple matters.
• Familiarity with generative AI in professional workflows; validate outputs and protect information.

Responsibilities

• Lead transactions from inception through signing, closing, and implementation.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate deals with banks and financial institutions.
• Advise on mergers & acquisitions, strategic transactions, and venture investments.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and diligence tools for recurring deals.
• Incorporate AI-enabled workflows within the Transactions team and ensure accuracy and privilege.
