Job summary

Circle is seeking a senior transactional attorney to join the Transactions team within its Legal department. The role focuses on Corporate Development and Ventures, and Financial Partnerships, including mergers, strategic investments, and banking agreements.

You will lead transactions end-to-end, collaborate with Business Development, Product, and external counsel, and help design AI-enabled workflows to improve diligence, drafting, and deal tracking in a fast-moving digital assets environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. or foreign equivalent and bar membership in good standing.
• 7+ years of transactional legal experience.
• Extensive M&A and corporate transactions experience.
• Experience with banking/financial services agreements preferred.
• Experience with AI-enabled workflows in legal teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, asset purchases, and other strategic transactions.
• Advise on joint ventures, minority and venture investments, and strategic partnerships.
• Draft, negotiate, and finalize agreements with banks and financial institutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across business and product.
• Develop AI-enabled templates, playbooks, and diligence tools.
