Job summary

Circle is seeking an experienced transactional attorney to join the Transactions team. This role will focus on mergers and acquisitions, strategic transactions, and venture investments, leading deals from inception through signing and closing while coordinating with Business Development, Product, and Compliance.

You will develop and expand transaction templates, playbooks, and AI-enabled workflows to speed due diligence, contract review, and deal tracking, while ensuring privilege,

Qualifications

• J.D. or foreign equivalent with active bar admission.
• 7+ years of transactional legal experience in top firms or in-house.
• Proven experience in M&A, corporate transactions, and related deal work.
• Strong written and verbal communication, ownership, and organization.
• Familiarity with and practical use of generative AI in legal workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead transactions from inception through signing, closing, and implementation.
• Draft and negotiate definitive agreements and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate agreements with banks/financial institutions.
• Develop and expand AI-enabled workflows, playbooks, and templates for repetitive transactions.
• Collaborate with business units to translate objectives into practical contract terms.
