Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Project Manager for our Northeast Division to lead traffic and transportation projects. You will supervise studies, design and bid documents for roadways and multi‑modal solutions while mentoring staff and managing client relationships.

The role emphasizes technical direction in traffic modeling (Synchro, Vissim), signal design, and budget control, with a focus on collaboration and delivering high‑quality outcomes across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering required.
• 8+ years in traffic/transportation engineering including models and design.
• MassDOT standards knowledge and license in MA or reciprocity within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preparation of traffic, roadway study and bid documents.
• Provide technical direction on traffic analysis models and signal design.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules and progress.
• Present results at client meetings and to the public.
• Mentor staff and manage workloads and issues.
• Prepare scopes and budgets for proposals and contracts.
• Maintain communications with municipalities and regional agencies.
• Develop client relationships for project opportunities.
