Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Project Manager to lead traffic/transportation projects with a focus on multimodal solutions. You will supervise studies, provide technical direction on traffic models and signal design, and manage budgets and schedules while mentoring staff and engaging with clients and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have extensive traffic engineering experience, MA PE license, and a track record of delivering complex transportation projects in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in traffic/transportation engineering with leadership responsibilities.
• Knowledge of MassDOT processes and traffic study standards.
• Proficiency in traffic modeling and signal design; PE license in MA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise studies, design, and bid documents for roadway projects with multimodal needs.
• Provide technical direction on traffic analysis models and signal design.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and project progress; present to clients and the public.
• Mentor staff, manage workloads, and build client relationships for future work.
