Job summary

Apex Companies - CSW is seeking a Project Manager for our Northeast Division in Massachusetts. You will supervise traffic engineering studies, lead design teams, manage budgets, and coordinate with state agencies and municipalities. This role offers autonomy, growth, and a path to leadership within a fast-growing firm.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil or Transportation Engineering degree, 8+ years in traffic engineering, MA PE license, and strong client relations. PTOE is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.
• 8+ years in traffic/transportation engineering (models, studies, design, PM).
• Knowledge of traffic study/design standards and state agency processes (MassDOT).
• Expertise in traffic modeling (Synchro) and traffic signal design.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct studies, design, and bid documents for traffic projects.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring for traffic modeling and signal design.
• Maintain oversight of project budgets, schedules, and progress.
• Present effectively at meetings with clients and the public.
• Manage/mentor staff, assign workloads, and resolve issues.
• Prepare project scopes and budgets for proposals and contracts.
• Maintain communication with clients including municipalities and regional agencies.
• Build and maintain client relationships to generate project opportunities.
