Job summary
Consor is seeking a Traffic Engineering Professional Engineer to lead planning, analysis, design, and delivery of traffic engineering elements for complex transportation projects. You will apply advanced engineering principles to develop safe and efficient traffic solutions for motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users.
You will provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams, oversee design development from concept through final delivery, and ensure quality, constructability,
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Transportation.
- PE license or ability to obtain.
- Experience with traffic analysis, modeling, and design.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and delivery of traffic engineering design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Design and oversee traffic control systems (signals, signing, markings, lighting, work zone control).
- Perform and review traffic engineering calculations, modeling, and analyses.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary design activities and mentor junior engineers.
- Support quality control, scheduling, risk management, and deliverables coordination.
