Consor is seeking a Traffic Engineering Professional Engineer to lead the planning, analysis, design, and delivery of traffic engineering elements for transportation infrastructure projects. You will apply advanced engineering principles to develop safe, efficient traffic solutions that enhance mobility and roadway safety for motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Transportation Engineering.
• 4–10+ years of directly related traffic engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, ORD and traffic analysis software such as Synchro, VISSIM, HCS or similar tools.
• Proficiency with Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development and delivery of traffic engineering design plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Design and oversee traffic control systems including traffic signals, signing, pavement markings, lighting, and work zone traffic control.
• Perform and review traffic engineering calculations, modeling, and analyses.
• Coordinate and integrate traffic design activities across multidisciplinary teams; mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Support project engineers and managers with quality control reviews, schedule tracking, risk management, and coordination of traffic-related design deliverables.
• Support and interpret intersection, corridor, and multimodal traffic studies related to design implementation and final construction plans.
• Prepare engineer’s opinions of probable construction cost (OPCC) and participate in agency and public meetings as the traffic engineering representative.
