Job summary

Consor is seeking a Traffic Engineering Professional Engineer to lead planning, design, and delivery of traffic solutions in a hybrid office/field role in Houston, TX. You will act as a technical advisor and mentor, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across projects.

The role requires a PE license, a BS in Civil Engineering with transportation emphasis, and expertise in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and traffic analysis tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Transportation Engineering or equivalent.
PE license is required.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, analysis, design, and delivery of traffic engineering elements for complex transportation projects.
Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
Coordinate design activities across teams and ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and constructability.
Support business development efforts and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
Prepare engineers' opinions of probable construction cost (OPCC) and participate in public meetings as the traffic engineering representative.
