Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC in Seattle seeks a Title Team Manager to lead the group ensuring title transactions move quickly, accurately, and by the book from intake to delivery.

You will own the process: verify titles, handle retitles and SPOAs, chase lien releases, and coach a team through complex cases while coordinating with DMVs, lenders, and internal teams. This role focuses on building SOPs and improving processes across departments for scalable efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in vehicle titles, DMV operations, dealership title/registration, lien services, or similar.
• At least 1 year leading or supervising a team.
• Solid grasp of title, lien, and DMV processes across multiple states.
• Strong organizational skills to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident, clear communicator with DMV staff, lenders, lienholders, and teams.
• Data-driven mindset with metrics to identify bottlenecks and track performance.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace; CRM or ops tooling is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of title specialists for private-party and dealer transactions.
• Manage the full title lifecycle: verification, retitling, SPOA processing, lien payoffs, and shipment tracking.
• Handle tricky title exceptions and coordinate with DMVs, lenders, and lienholders nationwide.
• Prioritize aged deals and keep the slowest transactions moving.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, QA processes, and escalation paths.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Operations, and Engineering to fix gaps and automate.
• Track metrics such as cycle time, throughput, and error rates, flagging risks.
• Serve as go-to for high-stakes cases like suspected fraud or multi-state ELT issues.
• Stay updated on state DMV title and registration rules and ensure team compliance.
