Job summary

Upstart, Columbus, OH, is seeking an Operations Manager for the Auto Title Administration team. You will lead lien perfection and title management, drive efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance while scaling operations for growth.

You will work cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, Compliance, and Training, using data-driven insights and AI tools to accelerate analysis and knowledge sharing, with in-person office time required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a frontline operations team in a metrics-driven environment.
• Experience driving productivity, quality, or turnaround-time improvements.
• Experience using data and metrics to identify issues and implement changes.
• Experience managing workflows with quality, compliance, or regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading process changes from identification to implementation and measurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Title Administration Specialists, setting clear performance expectations.
• Oversee lien perfection and title management operations to support timely processing.
• Use performance data to identify root causes and drive process improvements.
• Strengthen controls and workflows for state-specific regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Compliance, Training, and Workforce Management to resolve challenges.
• Leverage Generative AI responsibly to accelerate analysis and documentation with human review.
