Job summary

Barrister Title is seeking an Experienced Title Processor to manage residential purchase and refinance files from opening through closing preparation. You’ll coordinate with lenders, Realtors, attorneys, buyers, and sellers to keep transactions moving and resolve issues before closing day.

This role requires proven experience with title processing, settlement statements, and the ability to manage multiple files with strong organizational skills and exceptional communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Title Processor is required.
• Strong understanding of residential purchase and refinance transactions.
• Experience preparing settlement statements and closing packages.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files.

Responsibilities

• Process residential purchase and refinance transactions from opening through closing preparation.
• Review title commitments and coordinate title clearance with examiners.
• Order payoffs, HOA information, tax information, surveys, and other items needed to prepare files.
• Prepare settlement statements, Closing Disclosures, CPLs, and closing packages.
• Coordinate with lenders, Realtors, attorneys, buyers, and sellers throughout the transaction.
• Monitor contract deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding items.
• Communicate clearly and professionally to keep everyone informed.
• Work closely with closers, examiners, and support staff to ensure every file is ready for a smooth closing.
• Anticipate potential issues and help resolve them before closing day.
