Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish, deciding whether to dispatch internal technicians or third parties.

The role focuses on resolving technical problems on Ryder lease or contract vehicles and improving uptime. You will troubleshoot, communicate with customers in breakdowns, and mentor the Tier 1 team, with shift work Friday through Monday 5:00 pm–3:30 am EST.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in Ryder operations (shop) environment.
• Two+ years of direct customer service exposure in Ryder operations.
• Four+ years in transportation maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Mange Tier 2 emergency roadside cases with autonomy on actions.
• Coordinate with RCRC and leadership; escalate as needed.
• Provide updated technical knowledge and training to team.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center and provide performance updates.
