Qualifications

• Pursuing or have MS+ in engineering/physics with heat transfer focus
• 7+ years in a thermal analysis role
• Thermal FEA in STAR-CCM+/ANSYS/Icepak/Flotherm
• Experience with Matlab or Python for models and data processing
• Experience with test-model correlation and parameter characterization
• Strong ability to work independently and with teams
• Eligible for U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Perform first-order calculations and develop analytical models to guide designs
• Develop CFD models to predict temperatures and heat transfer
• Create and correlate FEMs with imaging platforms
• Conduct test-model correlation and validate predictions
• Collaborate with environmental test engineers for validation testing
• Prepare technical reports for internal teams and customers
• Stay current with advances in thermal analysis techniques
