Qualifications

• MS or higher in engineering or applied physics with heat transfer focus.
• 7+ years in a thermal analysis role.
• Thermal FEA experience with STAR-CCM+, ANSYS, Icepak or Flotherm.
• Familiar with MATLAB or Python for models and data processing.
• Experience with test-model correlation and parameter characterization.
• Ability to work independently and with stakeholders.
• Eligible for active U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Execute first-order and CFD analyses to inform design decisions.
• Develop and maintain integrated FEMs for imaging platforms.
• Perform test-model correlation to validate predictions.
• Collaborate with environmental test engineers for hardware testing.
• Prepare technical reports for internal teams and customers.
• Stay current with thermal analysis methods and industry standards.
