Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Middletown, CT is seeking a Test Engineer to manage multiple engine programs within the Assembly and Test Engineering Organization. You will ensure readiness and flawless execution of test vehicles, interfacing with CIPTs and systems engineers to meet budget and schedule.

The role requires a bachelor’s in mechanical or electrical engineering, 5+ years of technical experience, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering required.
• 5 years of technical experience; advanced degree with 3 years acceptable.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engine programs within Assembly and Test Engineering Organization.
• Ensure assembly operations readiness and flawless execution of test vehicles, plans, builds, teardowns and inspections.
• Interface with CIPTs, Systems engineers and support groups to meet requirements on time and within budget.
• Lead assembly process improvement teams and serve as focal point within Assembly Operations for assigned programs.
