Job summary

Ameris Bank is seeking a Teller Supervisor to coordinate customer service functions within the branch and ensure operational excellence and compliance. You will supervise teller operations, balance vaults, and resolve complex customer issues while driving sales and service goals.

The role requires multiple years in customer service and teller experience, with supervisory duties preferred. A high school diploma is required; a finance-related degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise teller operations including staffing, audits, and evaluations.
• Provide prompt, professional customer service to customers and prospects.
• Operate teller drawer and handle advanced transactions.
• Investigate root causes of issues and implement resolutions.
• Maintain knowledge of banking products and promotions.
• Achieve defined sales and service goals.
• Balance vaults, conduct audits, and balance cash daily.
• Mentor colleagues and provide training as needed.
