Job summary

Ameris Bank in Thomasville, GA seeks a Branch Teller Supervisor to coordinate branch customer service and teller operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and sales goals. You will supervise staff, resolve complex service issues, balance vault and transactions, and provide coaching to teammates.

You'll contribute to delivering financial peace of mind by understanding banking products, mitigating risks, and delivering service excellence across daily branch activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience required.
• 2+ years of teller experience or equivalent cash handling experience required.
• 1 year of retail banking experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operations of teller functions including staffing, audits, and compliance.
• Provide prompt, professional customer service to customers and prospective customers.
• Operate the teller drawer and perform advanced teller functions including resolving cash discrepancies.
• Identify root causes of complex service issues and implement resolutions.
• Maintain knowledge of banking products and promotions and meet sales/service goals.
• Balance vault and ATM, perform regular audits, and balance daily cash totals.
• Provide backup support to other branches as needed.
• May mentor colleagues and provide training.
