Job summary

Cable One, Inc. is seeking an Advance Technician in Cottonwood, AZ to install and repair high‑quality home and business services. You will troubleshoot headend, HFC and fiber equipment, read maps, and help maintain network performance while supporting the team.

The role requires a one-year certificate or 3–4 years related experience, knowledge of test gear (TDR/OTDR, VOM) and the ability to work variable hours, including weekends. Solid career growth and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent experience.
• Ability to complete Sparklight Advanced Technician training within 6 months.
• Knowledge of FCC, NEC, NESC, OSHA, DOT and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install new customer services and repair equipment in the plant.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose network issues in Headend, HFC and fiber optic systems.
• Read and interpret system maps and document findings per company procedures.
• Perform splicing/terminations of coaxial and fiber, activate devices, and test to ensure performance.
