Job summary

IES Holdings seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead tactical operations and support for the largest contract-value projects, including high-risk initiatives. You will mentor PMs, manage risk, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and financial targets.

You will partner with Operations leaders and other PMs to resolve escalations, supervise project performance, and drive profitable, on-time delivery for diverse customer accounts. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum five years in telecommunications or related technical/construction field.
• Experience managing large/complex projects over $1M.
• Experience with scope, schedule, and budget management.
• Mentoring and supporting other Project Managers.
• Proficient with MS Project, Primavera P6, Wrike, Smartsheet, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, support, and report on largest profile projects with focus on risk, safety, quality, and client experience.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies for project execution.
• Engage in significant project escalations and drive resolution.
• Track financials, KPIs, forecasting, and project performance.
• Mentor and coach partnering Project Managers.
• Represent PMO in Pre-Con/Ops Handoff and Ops Implementation meetings for Tier 5 levels.
• Plan workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and installation progress.
• Manage project profitability to meet company goals.
• Review job cost postings and manage invoices and collections.
• Ensure quality and safety on customer work.
