Job summary

PJM Interconnection, LLC seeks a Telecommunications Analyst to manage PJM’s voice and data telecom assets, ensuring effective operation and security across departments. The role requires independent work on complex tasks involving cross-functional teams and external vendors.

The position is hybrid with onsite weekly work and an on-call rotation within an hour’s drive of Audubon, PA. Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in telecom systems are required, with MBA preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering or equivalent
• 4+ years in systems management, telecommunications support and administration
• Ability to produce high-quality work with attention to detail
• Experience with Cisco Call Control & UC platforms (CUCM, Unity Connection, Expressway)
• Experience with voice/data telecom systems and related tools

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation for all telecom systems
• Track vendor contracts for SLA and expiration
• Assist in department budgeting with forecasts and audits
• Monitor circuit utilization and identify cost reduction opportunities
• Manage lifecycle tasks for assets and service provisioning
• Implement and audit telecom security practices per corporate standards
• Provide technical advice to ITS customers
• Develop and enforce standards for reliable data/voice telecom links
