Job summary

PJM Interconnection, LLC is seeking a Telecommunications Analyst in a hybrid role based near Audubon, PA. The position focuses on managing PJM’s voice and data telecom assets, documenting systems, and ensuring SLA compliance., with on-site weekly requirements and an on-call rotation.

The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork, budgeting, and vendor management capabilities. Requirements include a Bachelor's in CS/Engineering and at least four years in telecom management, plus experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years experience in systems management, telecom support, and telecoms administration.
• Ability to produce high-quality work with attention to detail.
• Effective team communication skills.
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Cisco CUCM and UC platforms such as CUCM/Unity/Expressway.
• Experience with telecom systems like voice recording and mass notification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current documentation on all telecom systems.
• Track vendor contracts for SLA compliance and expiration.
• Assist in department budgeting with forecasts and audits.
• Monitor circuit utilization and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Perform lifecycle tasks for assets and consult on telecom services.
• Implement and audit telecom security practices per standards.
• Evaluate assets and protection measures.
• Conduct research and design telecom solutions.
• Communicate change information for all telecom platforms.
• Develop and maintain SLAs.
• Evaluate vendor proposals for telecom solutions.
• Provide technical advice to ITS customers.
• Propose standards for reliable data and voice links.
