Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Technology Lead to drive the SFMC/Data Cloud platform for partner marketing. You will own data modeling, API design, and the knowledge graph architecture across SFMC, Data Cloud, and upstream systems.

Lead end-to-end data pipelines, collaborate with data science, and mentor engineers while integrating AI/LLM capabilities into marketing workflows. This role is based in Chicago with a strong focus on data-driven marketing platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience in CS or a related field.
• 10+ years building and operating enterprise software platforms with MarTech exposure.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud and data integration patterns.
• Proven track record leading complex technical projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Lead SFMC initiatives, journey builds, and NBA integration with minimal guidance.
• Architect data model for SFMC/Data Cloud and upstream systems.
• Design a knowledge graph to connect partner, property, contact, and campaign data.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines and ensure data freshness with monitoring.
