Job summary

Expedia Group in Seattle seeks a Senior Technology Lead to drive end-to-end SFMC/Data Cloud initiatives for B2B partner marketing. You’ll own data modeling, integration patterns, and API designs to empower campaigns and NBA recommendations.

You’ll mentor engineers, shape platform architecture, and collaborate with data science teams to apply AI tooling and build scalable pipelines, ensuring data quality and governance across marketing platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years building and operating enterprise software platforms.
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
• Experience with data integration patterns and CRM/marketing data models.
• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python/Java/Scala).
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and cloud services (AWS).
• Experience with batch/stream processing (Spark, Kafka, SQS).
• Experience building with LLMs/GenAI and AI tooling for data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SFMC initiatives for partner marketing and NBA integration.
• Own data model for SFMC/Data Cloud, including DMOs/DLOs and identity resolution.
• Design knowledge graph linking partner, property, contact, and campaign data.
• Build and optimize data capture, processing, storage, and distribution for campaigns.
• Develop and maintain batch/stream pipelines with reliable observability.
• Expose data via APIs and services for internal and third-party tools.
• Mentor engineers and drive platform reliability, CI/CD, and governance.
