Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Technology Lead to drive complex SFMC and Data Cloud initiatives. You will architect data models, APIs, and pipelines, enabling NBA recommendations and partner marketing workflows.

The role emphasizes data engineering, knowledge graphs, and platform reliability, with collaboration across marketing and analytics teams. The position requires 10+ years in enterprise software, strong SQL and Python/Java/Scala skills, and experience with AWS and Spark-based

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years building and operating enterprise software platforms with hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud experience.
• Experience leading complex technical projects end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Experience with data integration patterns connecting marketing platforms to upstream and downstream systems.
• Strong programming in Python/Java/Scala and SQL, with cloud data warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SFMC initiatives for partner marketing with minimal guidance.
• Own and architect data model for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
• Design a knowledge graph connecting partner, property, contact and campaign entities across systems.
• Define ontology, relationships, and identity resolution for unified profiles.
• Build data capture, processing, storage, and distribution solutions for campaigns.
