Job summary

Expedia Group seeks a Senior Technology Lead to drive SFMC and Data Cloud initiatives, from journey builds to NBA integration, shaping data models from Data Extensions to Identity Resolution.

You will design a knowledge graph, architect ETL/ELT pipelines, and expose data via APIs for internal platforms and third-party tools, while mentoring engineers and aligning with business goals.

The role emphasizes platform health, CI/CD, and scalable marketing data solutions with AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years building and operating enterprise software platforms with hands-on SFMC/Data Cloud experience.
• Experience leading complex technical projects end-to-end.
• Experience data integration patterns linking marketing platforms to upstream/downstream systems.
• Strong SQL and programming skills (Python/Java/Scala).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex, end-to-end SFMC initiatives for partner marketing, including journeys, automations, and NBA integration.
• Own the end-to-end data model for SFMC/Data Cloud, including Data Extensions, Identity Resolution, and related objects.
• Design a knowledge graph connecting partner, property, contact, and campaign entities across SFMC and Data Cloud.
• Develop and optimize data capture, processing, storage, and distribution for campaigns and analytics.
• Build and maintain batch and streaming pipelines that are reliable and cost-efficient at scale.
• Mentor engineers and drive platform standards, CI/CD, and health practices.
