Job summary

Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to develop high-quality software documentation. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and engineers to translate complex features into clear user guides, manuals, and specifications.

The role emphasizes MadCap Flare, Flare projects, and MadCap Central. You will own documentation from conception through publication, support upcoming releases, and help create live demos and e-learning content.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience as a Technical Writer, preferably with software or technology products.
Strong hands-on experience with MadCap Flare.
Experience creating and maintaining software/product documentation.
Ability to translate complex software functionality for non-technical audiences.
Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead interviews with subject matter experts and create/update technical documentation for software products.
Partner with Product Managers to understand new features and translate them into user-friendly guides.
Develop documentation to support upcoming software releases and live demonstrations.
Manage documentation projects from conception through completion using established style guides.
Review and update existing documentation as products evolve and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
