Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking an experienced technical writer to develop, edit, and maintain complex publications for the Veterans Affairs sector. You will coordinate a team of writers, collaborate with SMEs, and ensure high-quality documentation and proposals while adhering to standards.

The role requires deep experience with Edifecs and MS Office, and a strong ability to translate technical content for diverse stakeholders in a remote, U.S.-based setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing, editing, and maintaining technical publications and related documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication with high attention to grammar and style.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly documents.
• Experience collaborating with SMEs, PgMs, engineers, and stakeholders to gather info.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and collaboration tools.
