Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking an experienced technical writer for a remote, full-time role supporting Veterans Affairs. You will produce, edit, and maintain technical publications, procedures, and training materials with a focus on clarity and accuracy.

Candidates should have 10+ years of experience, knowledge of Edifecs preferred, and the ability to work with SMEs and cross-functional teams in a federal environment. U.S. citizenship and Public Trust clearance requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, editing, and maintaining technical publications.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Translate complex information into clear, user-friendly documentation.
• Collaborate with SMEs, PgMs, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.

Responsabilités

• Write and update material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance
• Refine work of writers and coordinate activities of writers engaged in preparing technical, scientific, medical, or other material for publication in conjunction with or independent from manufacturing, research, and related activities
• Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards
• Utilize general application of concepts and principles
• Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Refer to policies and practices for guidance
• Contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals
• Represent organization on specific projects
