Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a seasoned Technical Writer to join our Veterans Affairs program. This 100% remote role requires crafting and updating reports, manuals, briefs, and publication materials for technical and administrative audiences, ensuring clarity and completeness.

You will collaborate with SMEs, PgMs, engineers, and stakeholders to gather information, maintain document quality, and adhere to standards and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, editing, and maintaining technical publications such as reports, manuals, and proposals.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation for varied audiences.
• Experience collaborating with SMEs, PgMs, engineers, and stakeholders to gather and validate information.
• Familiarity with content management systems, document repositories, and publishing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Write and update technical publications, reports, manuals, and related documents.
• Refine writers' work and coordinate activities of writers for publication.
• Apply industry practices, standards, and document control processes.
• Develop solutions to moderate-complexity problems and meet deadlines.
• Represent the organization on specific projects and support proposal development.
