Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Sr. Technical Trainer focused on Scale—covering commercial and mid-market customers—to help thousands derive immediate value from our Connected Operations Cloud.

You will deliver cohort-based programs, live webinars, and cohort-based training journeys across diverse industries, guiding learners from onboarding to advanced adoption. The role is remote in the US, excluding the SF Bay Area, NYC area, and DC metro.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Experience delivering at‑scale programs and live webinars or vILT to external audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to connect with people at any level.
• Ability to build digital learning assets using AI models and authoring tools.
• Working grasp of instructional design and learning objectives.
• Self-directed with ability to learn new products quickly.
• Ability to analyze engagement data and iterate on content.
• Strong prioritization to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and polished deliverables.
• Independent work style with teamwork when needed.
• 3–4 years of teaching or training experience, including scaled delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build, deliver and facilitate cohort-based programs for customers.
• Design experiences linking physical and digital assets to live sessions.
• Produce and adapt training materials to reflect product changes and audience needs.
• Leverage Samsara Community, AI tools, and other platforms to optimize training.
• Demonstrate platform expertise and field customer questions during live sessions.
• Manage live session logistics—registration, delivery, Q&A, polling and follow-up resources.
• Collaborate with CS Scale and Education to shape content and gather customer feedback.
• Identify knowledge gaps and address them with Product teams through programming.
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles during scaling and expansion.
