Job summary
Edwards Vacuum LLC is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to deliver the highest levels of field service support, driving Edwards’ sales and service growth. You will assist with installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of Edwards products, focusing on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
This hybrid role splits time between Dallas, TX and Austin, TX with on-site and remote work. You will guide equipment maintenance, support service technicians, review installation and commissioning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years field experience in a technical support role, with customer-facing duties.
- Strong knowledge of electrical or mechanical component construction and assembly.
Responsibilities
- Provides field service support including installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Guides end users on equipment maintenance practices and schedules.
- Supports installation and commissioning of all products.
- Reviews installation and commissioning documents for products.
- Maintains good customer relationships and identifies opportunities.
- Communicates effectively with customers and internal teams.
