Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking a senior technical support leader to drive regional performance across multiple products and technologies. You will mentor a customer-facing team, escalate issues, and contribute to global best practices while ensuring a superior customer experience.

You will collaborate with management and engineers, using advanced diagnostic techniques to analyze data, identify trends, and implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical discipline; global equivalent in education or experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience within Technical Support environment with two years experience in a management or leadership role.
• Experience within the semiconductor industry.
• Extensive analytical, troubleshooting and presentation skills.
• Expertise in diagnostic techniques for electrical, mechanical and software.
• Operational analysis – ability to analyze data, identify trends and implement improvements.
• Certified in and experienced with established troubleshooting methodologies (e.g., 8D, Kepner-Tregoe, Shainin Red X, Six Sigma Black Belt).

Responsibilities

• Owns and accountable for the overall performance of the regional tech support team, ensuring skills and behaviors meet standards.
• Acts as primary escalation point for technical support within the region, coordinating with engineers to drive case progression and visibility.
• Leads staff development and coaching to drive performance and customer experience.
• Works with minimal supervision and communicates with management and technical levels.
• Drives improvements to align with global best practices and strategic objectives.
