VPG is seeking a Technical Sales Manager in Columbus, USA, with a mid-senior level background to drive OEM sales and lead development projects. You will coordinate with R&D, Engineering, and QA to ensure timely project execution and profitable customer partnerships.

The role emphasizes long-term contracts with global OEMs, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication skills. Midwest to Mid-Atlantic region residency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics).
• 10+ years of experience in sales and business development of Industrial Automation products /Sensors to OEMs.
• Significant experience in sales of technical products.
• Strong business/finance background and experience.
• Knowledge of commercial transactional process involved with sales.
• Previous experience negotiating multi-year contracts with large, global OEMs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skill.

Responsabilités

• Identify potential new customers within the OEM market segment and region to achieve new business sales.
• Proactively engage with existing customers to maximize sales growth.
• Lead new development projects and coordinate with R&D, Engineering, QA to ensure timely completion.
• Negotiate contracts with purchasing and key decision makers to establish profitable relationships.
• Analyze and report sales data and forecast for the region.
