The role emphasizes strategic account growth and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast paced environment. The position requires a Bachelor's in Business or Engineering, 10+ years selling industrial automation sensors to OEMs, and strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business or Engineering.
• 10+ years in sales and business development of Industrial Automation sensors to OEMs.
• Experience selling technical products.
• Strong business/finance background.
• Knowledge of commercial transactional processes in sales.
• Experience negotiating multi-year contracts with global OEMs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Must reside in the Midwest to Mid-Atlantic areas.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential new customers within the defined OEM market segment and region.
• Pro-actively engage with existing customers within the defined OEM market segments and region to maximize sales growth.
• Lead development projects by proactive contact with prospects or customers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion.
• Negotiate contracts with purchasing and other key decision makers to establish profitable relationships.
• Analyze and report key sales and project management data and forecast future expectations for the region.
