Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Senior Technical Recruiter to partner with the Maritime Division. You will own full-cycle engineering recruiting, sourcing passive candidates, and guiding talent strategy across stakeholders to scale teams.

You will conduct interviews, optimize hiring processes, and help Anduril grow with equity grants and top-tier benefits for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience recruiting and sourcing for technical roles and closing top tier engineering talent (startup/software experience preferred).
• Experience hiring candidates within all facets of engineering - software, hardware or both.
• 4+ years of client interaction experience, including working with Hiring Managers and Directors, taking new requirements, reviewing profiles and updating pipeline progress
• Experience acting in a consultative manner where guidance led to improved outcomes and positive candidate experience
• Strong understanding of the technical skills and experience required for Engineering positions
• Clear and effective communication with candidates to understand motivation, drivers, and fit within the organization
• Experience managing various funnels of candidates and keeping track of their progress throughout the recruitment process
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems
• Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
• Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues

Responsibilities

• Move fast, with a process for sourcing, tracking and maintaining a high volume of candidates while keeping stakeholders informed
• Establish deep trust with business leaders to influence talent strategy while delivering on hiring needs
• Build trust with cross-functional stakeholders to scale company growth
• Embed with the teams to understand product, roadmap, and culture
• Pitch teams and opportunities to close exceptional technical talent
• Track pipeline and performance data to generate insights for momentum
• Develop recruiting strategies for long-range growth with referrals and process improvements
• Be a subject matter expert in prospecting techniques, data retrieval, and candidate management
• Conduct interviews with high offer conversion
• Engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Boolean strings, and referrals
• Provide a positive candidate experience with proactive communication
