Job summary

Fairmarkit, the #1 autonomous sourcing platform, is building a new AI-driven business line and seeks a senior technical recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for AI engineers and engineers in the US.

You will source, screen, interview coordination, and close candidates directly with co-founders and leadership, building pipelines from scratch and shaping our technical hiring strategy in a fast-moving, lean environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in-house at a B2B SaaS or tech company.
• Proven track record owning full recruiting lifecycle for hard-to-find engineering profiles.
• Direct experience recruiting AI engineers, ML engineers, or agentic systems builders.
• Familiarity with technical communities like Hugging Face, LangChain Discord, or AI-focused GitHub.
• Demonstrates genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, builds AI agents and workflow automations.
• You can hold a credible conversation with engineers even if you are not an engineer.
• Strong full-cycle instincts from sourcing through close, with pipeline-building capabilities.
• Experience using Greenhouse, Ashby, or a comparable ATS.
• High ownership mentality and independent work style.
• Clear, direct communication with candidates and stakeholders.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving, lean team environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruiting cycle for US remote AI and engineering roles end-to-end, from intake and sourcing through screening, interview coordination, offer, and close.
• Build proactive sourcing pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, community forums, AI practitioner networks, and creative outbound strategies.
• Partner with co-founders and hiring managers to deeply understand profiles and translate into outreach and screening.
• Drive every stage of the candidate experience with urgency and care: no handoffs, no gaps, no candidates left in the dark.
• Represent Fairmarkit credibly in conversations with technical candidates: speak to work, stack, and opportunity value.
• Manage offers, negotiate compensation, and close candidates with confidence.
• Maintain clean pipeline hygiene in an ATS and report on metrics like time-to-fill, funnel conversion, and sourcing effectiveness.
• Contribute to employer branding and recruiting content that resonates with AI and engineering talent.
• Provide market trends and compensation benchmarks, and identify where talent is hiding.
