OpenAI, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to own leadership searches within engineering leadership. You will partner with senior engineering leaders to map roles, define qualifications, and drive end-to-end recruitment for managers and senior leaders.

You will build talent maps, engage passive candidates, and guide hiring teams through assessment, offers, and close, while maintaining a superior candidate experience across the US and tech hubs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading executive searches for engineering leaders.
• In-house or executive search experience preferred.
• Ability to map leadership requirements to market realities.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle leadership searches for engineering managers and senior leaders.
• Define scope, expectations, and technical/leadership requirements with hiring leaders.
• Develop talent maps and targeted search strategies using direct sourcing and market research.
• Engage passive candidates with thoughtful outreach and clear value propositions.
• Advise on compensation considerations and complex closing strategies.
• Maintain rigorous search rhythms and deliver a strong candidate experience.
